Ok so as I was cleaning my house I thought I could blog about this issue, since I am learning how to do this and want to be an overachiever by blogging twice in one day :) I have these two windows in my room and am trying to decide what to do with them. I would LOVE plantation shutters, but with the cost, that is not an option. It would be about $500 just for plantation shutters for these two. No!!! We are not going to do that. So, my second thought is to put Roman Bamboo Shades. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteSecond, your windows: Bamboo blinds would look cool, but they are fairly transparent. do you have a sewing machine? I can't remember. I would just cut a piece of canvas or stiff type of fabric to fit the shape of your windows, and then sew a hem at the top and the bottom for a dowel to hang it from. Very simple and super easy! That's my suggestion :)
